Sugar addiction runs high in America. Due to junk and snack food manufacturers putting large quantities of sugar in their products, Americans are consuming amounts which put them at risk for many chronic diseases.
Like unprocessed rice and wheat, natural sugar is brownish in color prior to processing. Brown sugar is nothing more than refined white sugar with a coating of molasses on it.
